Biography
I graduated from Southwestern College in 2015 with an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies. I began my legal career in 2014 as a legal intern, where I developed a strong foundation in legal procedures, case management, and client relations. Since then, I have built nearly a decade of experience in the legal field and have grown into a skilled paralegal working in fast-paced law firm environments.
Throughout my career, I have served in several roles, including Case Manager, Paralegal II, Managing Paralegal, and Senior Paralegal. My experience includes managing cases from intake through resolution, drafting pleadings and legal documents, coordinating discovery, preparing trial materials, maintaining litigation calendars. I have also assisted attorneys during in-person trials and mediations, helping prepare exhibits, trial binders, and case materials.
My legal background includes Family Law, Probate, Civil Litigation, and Bankruptcy, which has allowed me to develop a well-rounded understanding of legal procedures and case management. I am also a member of the San Diego Paralegal Association (SDPA) and remain committed to continuing professional development within the legal field.
I am bilingual in English and Spanish, which allows me to effectively assist Spanish-speaking clients and ensuring clear communication throughout the legal process. Colleagues often describe me as outgoing, dependable, and very caring. In fact, my nickname in the office has often been “Mom,” because I naturally look out for my team and enjoy creating a supportive and positive work environment.
I pride myself on being highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in demanding legal environments. My goal is to continue growing in the legal field while contributing my experience, strong work ethic, and dedication to a team.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog. I love traveling, hiking, and trying new foods and restaurants. In my spare time, I enjoy watching Korean dramas, bowling, learning new languages, and exploring new dog parks with my dog.
